Since our
inception in 1943 Witan has contributed more than $1,000,000 and over three
million volunteer hours to the community! In keeping with our purpose, the following
is a sample of the community needs we have supported.

Provided seed money to the Metropolitan Park District to
establish an Arboretum at the F.A. Seiberling Naturealm. A Remembrance Fund
to honor the memories of WITAN members, their families & friends is

Funded the Phoenix Program, which serves as an educational
alternative to institutionalization of delinquent adolescents

Funded scholarships for Children’s Concert Society
